Precious sprouts childcare centers are a family owned and operated services. Having a Degree in Primary Education and a Degree in Early Childhood Education, we understand the importance of incorporating the fundamental principles of Early Learning. Having three young children of our own, we understand the importance of providing a quality childcare program where children feel safe and secure much like home.
We realise the level of trust you place in us when enrolling your child in our early learning centers, we can proudly say we are committed to providing the highest quality standards of childcare and education possible.
Our Centers
Precious Sprouts Childcare Center opened its doors in August of 2018.Our Edmonton location is located at the ORA community Center. It serves child care to children of 3 years to 12 years of age. Our children have access to a natural space that sits over 5acres of land which includes the splash park, tennis court, 2 Skating rinks, tobogganing hill, large playground, and natural playground dedicated to our childcare program.
Our second location is in a rural area of a small town of Whitecourt. This location serves child care to children of 12 months to 12 years of age. Our indoor learning space promotes constructive activity and purposeful exploration. These areas are carefully organized to allow easy flow between activities. Our children also have access to a natural playground that sits over an acre of land with large mature trees.

I was able to see the facility in person, the environment gave off positive vibes. Met some of the staff who were very friendly. In addition, I had the opportunity to talk to Amarjit who was very generous of her time. We talked about some of the values that they have as a home and how they are taking care of the children as their own family. Which is very important. Highly recommend.

Teachers and director are so caring!
Kids have different educational activities everyday along the year it is never boring. My daughter love to go to this daycare every morning. This daycare is amazing!

This review is long overdue but definitely well deserved. My daughter has been with the daycare for almost a year and as a parent I cannot express in words how great this daycare is! From the owner to the providers and the level of care, interaction and fun provided by this Childcare centre is what I call ABOVE and BEYOND. The care factor they show not towards just the kids but to ensure that the parents are at ease when they drop the kids is amazing. The programs they provide are so much fun as well as a very diiferent approach to the learning experience for kids.......my favourite is the role play. I just wanted to say Thank you Precious Sprouts for everything you do and to parents who are looking for childcare.......you will not go Wrong with this one.

Both of my children attend this after school care. The staff are amazing and kind. The kids go tobogganing and skating in the winter right at the facility. In addition to the playground and the typical craft activities, they plan special events like Christmas concerts and Easter egg hunts. Very clean environment and the van ride to the school is short. Be prepared to pack snacks for your kids as they don’t provide meals.

My son went here for about a year, and it has set standards for childcare way high!!! You can not find a better place. They were ALWAYS outside no matter what season. If it was too wet, hot, cold, etc, they were crafting, baking, playing, or being creative in some other way. Amarjit is incredible. She is so kind and approachable, and you can tell she loves working with children. The teachers were all amazing. When there were any issues, they were thorough with explaining, documenting, and resolving the issues. Really appreciated all of the team there.

My children attended this daycare over the summer of 2022 and it was a great experience. Staff is very welcoming and accommodating.

This review is a bit on the late side, but better late than never, right?
Let me just start off by saying that I wish I could give more than 5 stars, because I have never had such a positive experience at a daycare, especially in Edmonton. The level of care and attention my daughter received at Precious Sprouts was unmatched and completely blew me away, and all of the staff was so easy to work with through different transitions. I always felt as though no matter the situation, there was always love and acceptance here. It honestly really felt like it gave off "home" vibes, and I was sad to say goodbye to this wonderful daycare when we moved. I have, and will continue to recommend this wonderful establishment to any parent looking for childcare- they are exceptional.

I love the Sensory activities and science experiments my son is doing and the pictures they send are professionally taken clear and high quality and the staff are super experienced very friendly and caring 💙 thank you precious sprout 🤩

My daughter first went to a dayhome in the area where she was abused and bullied by the other children. It was so bad that after her last day, within a week, she had no memory of her old dayhome. 3 years later she still doesn't. The staff at precious Sprouts were immediately supporting and understanding of both my hovering, uncertainty, and my daughters accidents (bowel and urine) and they have just been amazing. One staff left last year and my daughter still talks about them. She started off in the little kid room (preschool) and she absolutely loved going every day! Gone were the days of her not wanting to go without mommy, or the crying and panick around being at daycare. Now that she is in the big kid room, I can honestly say she is so happy, she is doing great in school and I recommend precious Sprouts to anyone who inquire about daycare in the area. So much love to all the staff and the director. Amazing 👏

My daughter has been at Precious Sprouts for just over 1 year now. The transition from at home to FT daycare was a scary one, not only for my little one but for myself as well.
Amarjit and the staff there were so compassionate and supportive while we made this transition. My daughter often shares highlights of her day with me that include stories about her friends, kind teachers and all of their activities and adventures. We are truly grateful for the wonderful group of staff we found here! I love the friendly atmosphere at drop off and pick up and my daughter has grown to really love her time here. We have two children in this program. One in out of school care and one in day care. All the staff are wonderful to deal with. The staff go above expectations to ensure the kids succeed. The facility is top notch with many amenities that you could not find anywhere else.

We loved Precious Sprouts! My son was in Precious Sprouts from 3.5 to 5 years old. The facility is top notch with amenities unlike any other childcare service in Edmonton. The kids are all so happy, especially in the summer when they can be outside more. The director and teachers are so caring and kind. Highly recommend. 👍

Our son is in Out of School care and loves it here. It is a fight every time we pick him up to leave. The staff is amazing and strive to do the best for each child.

I am so happy we found Precious Sprouts for our kids. It has been nurturing for them in so many ways. I have truly loved the approach to development they take and any parent will find an amazing space for their kids to grow.
